Custom Media CEO Robert Heldt to Feature on CIC LIVE

Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) Tokyo in Toranomon Hills Business Tower provides those who work there with a variety of benefits. From communal kitchens stocked with free refreshments to secluded phone booths for business calls, the co-working space has it all. It even has its own radio station: CIC LIVE.

Nick Luscombe

CIC LIVE broadcasts from 3pm to 6pm on weekdays from CIC Tokyo. One program on the station is Inspiration / Innovation Japan, a live podcast held every Monday in the CIC Tokyo office. It is hosted by Nick Luscombe, a London- and Tokyo-based creative director, music playlist curator, radio broadcaster and producer, and DJ. A fellow of the Royal Society of Arts since 2018, Luscombe has had an extensive career in the UK and Japan.

Each week Luscombe talks with leading members of Japan’s innovation and business community. Guests range from entrepreneurs and people starting new ventures to figures from more established brands offering new concepts and ideas.

Robert Heldt

On June 14, Robert Heldt—co-founder and CEO of Custom Media and the creator of GoConnect—will appear on Inspiration / Innovation Japan with Luscombe. He will discuss Custom Media’s operations, the success of GoConnect, and how the company’s recent move to CIC Tokyo has stimulated even more innovation and creativity among the Custom Media team.

Heldt said: “The CIC Tokyo space, at its heart, is about innovation—which is why Custom Media is there. I’m delighted to be featured on Nick Luscombe’s weekly CIC LIVE show, where I’ll be talking about the latest digital marketing trends and our award-winning shared marketplace platform, GoConnect.”
