Universal Studios Japan Offers Daytime Fun and Nighttime Terror This Halloween
If you’re looking for the perfect blend of scary and fun this Halloween, Universal Studios Japan is offering an exhilarating and unpredictable experience. Running from September 5th to November 4th, USJ is hosting its popular annual Halloween Horror Nights event, providing a full program of “scary-fun” activities.
During the day, you can enjoy the Pokémon Jumpin’ Halloween Party, ideal for children and adults. A highly popular event last year, this Hallowen party features music, dancing and popular Pokémon characters. My Melody and Kuromi will also make appearances in exclusive Halloween costumes at the My Melody & Kuromi: Happy Halloween Greeting, joining characters from the Minions and Sesame Street. Besides interacting with these beloved characters, children and adults can participate in a park-wide Trick or Treat activity to collect candy from 10:00 to 17:00, with an exclusive candy available only for adults after 18:00.
For those seeking a more thrilling experience, the night events are a must. When the sun sets, zombies start to roam the grounds–this is not for the faint of heart! This year’s Halloween Horror Nights event starting Saturday, September 6th, will feature Ado, a 21-year-old Utaite whose music you may recognize from One Piece Film Red. In addition to lending her talents as the captain of a zombie troop, Ado will also be sharing her new song “Show” to balance the screaming with a bit of singing.
Other nighttime events include the terrifying Chucky’s Carnival of Chaos maze, complete with 3D glasses for an extra disorienting experience, and Hami-Kuma’s Shout It Out Party. This year also marks the first-ever collaboration with Chainsaw Man. Fully immerse yourself in the world of Chainsaw Man as “Denji” fiercely battles zombies and demons right before your eyes.
