FAQ

Why should we use GoConnect? We already have our own website.

Your website explains your business to people who already know your name. GoConnect introduces your business to international residents who haven’t heard of you yet, and gives your brand independent third-party credibility.

We don’t replace your website. We create authoritative content that helps the right audience discover you, understand why you are relevant and then move to your website or booking channel with greater confidence and understanding of your product or service.

Why should I care about GEO?

Because discovery is moving beyond traditional Google Search results. People are increasingly asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI-generated search results for direct recommendations.

GEO helps AI platforms understand:
• Who your company is
• What you are credible for
• Which customers and locations you serve
• When your business should be recommended or cited

This is long-term visibility infrastructure. Brands that establish clear authority now will have an advantage as AI continues to become a larger part of customer research and decision-making.

We already rank on Google.

That visibility is valuable, but ranking for your company name or commercial keywords is not the same as dominating the wider decision-making conversation.

We help you appear around the questions customers ask before choosing a provider: comparisons, concerns, costs, locations, use cases and expert advice. We also strengthen the consistency of your brand across independent, authoritative sources. Your own website cannot accomplish this alone, as it takes other sources to support your presence.

Strong Google rankings and GEO reinforce each other. This is an extension of your existing visibility, not a replacement for it.

Your audience isn’t large enough.

GoConnect is not a mass-reach platform, and we do not pretend to be one. Our value is in audience relevance, not our page views.

A premium school, property company, healthcare provider or relocation service does not need millions of casual impressions. It needs access to internationally minded residents, executives, investors and families who live in Japan and have genuine purchasing intent.

The correct question is not only, “How many people saw it?” It is:
• Were they the right people?
• Did they spend time engaging with the content?
• Did they visit the client’s website?
• Did they take a measurable action?
• Did the campaign strengthen the brand’s authority?

One qualified booking or client may be more valuable than tens of thousands of low-intent social impressions.

Why shouldn’t we spend this budget on Instagram?

Instagram can create awareness quickly, but its hold on attention is temporary. When the advertising stops, visibility usually drops with it.

GoConnect content creates a durable asset that can remain discoverable through Google, AI platforms, newsletters and future searches. It also gives customers enough information to evaluate a complex or premium purchase, not just discover the brand.

The strongest strategies may include Instagram, but it should drive people further into a conversion journey:

Social attention → authoritative content → focused landing page → inquiry or booking

Instagram is a distribution channel. It should not be seen as the complete strategy.

How does this generate bookings?

A blog post alone doesn’t reliably generate bookings. That’s why we don’t recommend isolated articles.

Our strategy is to create a connected funnel:
• Answer real customer questions through authoritative content.
• Reach the audience through GoConnect, newsletters, social media and selected paid promotion.
• Direct interested readers to a focused landing page.
• Present a clear, relevant offer and call to action.
• Track outbound clicks, inquiries, registrations or booking actions.
• Use the results to improve subsequent content and distribution.

We cannot responsibly guarantee a specific number of bookings because conversion also depends on the offer, pricing, availability and client response process. What we can do is create and measure a credible path from discovery to action.

We tried sponsored articles before and they didn’t work.

Usually, the problem wasn’t the article itself. It is that the article(s) are treated as separate resources rather than part of a system.

We would need to ask:
• Was it based on a genuine customer question?
• Was it properly optimized for search and AI discovery?
• Was it supported by several related pieces of content?
• Was it distributed beyond the publication date?
• Did it include a compelling next step?
• Was there a dedicated landing page?
• Were outbound clicks and conversions tracked?
• Was it given enough time to build visibility?

One sponsored article with weak distribution and no conversion pathway is an advertisement. A structured content ecosystem can become a long-term acquisition asset.

What exactly would ¥2 million buy me?

Approximately ¥2 million should purchase a complete authority-building campaign—not simply eight blog posts.

A credible package would include:
• Strategic discovery and customer-intent mapping
• A defined content and GEO strategy
• Approximately eight expert-led, SEO/GEO-optimized articles
• A connected content cluster built around priority customer questions
• A conversion-focused landing page
• Clear inquiry, registration or booking calls to action
• Distribution through GoConnect’s newsletter and social channels
• Premium placement across relevant GoConnect touchpoints
• Selected paid promotion or audience amplification
• Tracking of engagement, outbound clicks and conversion actions
• Monthly performance reporting
• Ongoing content and campaign optimization
• Strategic recommendations based on actual audience behavior

You are not buying ¥2 million of media space. You are investing in a body of authoritative content, access to a relevant international audience, measurable distribution and a conversion pathway that can continue producing value beyond the campaign period.
