Ohana International School is an international preschool based in Motoazabu that welcomes children from 15 months to 5 ½ years old. Along with our qualified teaching staff, owner Shelley Sacks brings more than 48 years of experience in early childhood education. At Ohana, play and learning are inseparable and essential to our emergent curriculum which includes integrative learning themes, aspects of Reggio Emilia, values learning and an emphasis on literacy, music, and art. Our students learn to embrace differences and grow to be honourable members of a global society.

In addition to focusing on each child’s development in key areas, children are exposed to various cultural activities and eco-friendly practices such as not bringing single use plastic into the school. Our banner Zero Plastic – It’s Fantastic says it all. Our world-class teaching staff focuses on hands-on and face to face learning. Teachers use technology in the form of iPads to take photographs and videos, while traditional materials form the backdrop to create the ideal integrated learning environment. We are also dedicated to supporting parents by offering educational workshops that provide guidance and assist in understanding early childhood development and learning approaches.
