As you may recall, the very first Expat Expo public exhibition for Tokyo’s international residents was held last November. The event attracted more than 1,000 guests and nearly 30 companies from a variety of industries—such as travel, food & beverage, language schools and real estate. For exhibitors, Expat Expo was an ideal opportunity to get the word out about their businesses, while visitors were able to browse the booths and experience Japanese culture through activities such as samurai performances and trying on kimonos.

More Space to Showcase Your Business
After receiving feedback from exhibitors, Expat Expo’s organizer, INNOVENT, has decided to expand the exhibition’s scale fivefold. This means more space for a bigger booth, and a better opportunity to share your services with attendees!
A standard booth for this year will be 3 meters by 3 meters. For more information about the booth, please contact us by filling out the form below.
However, tables, chairs and backboards do not come included with your booth rental. However, GoConnect can provide support in this area (see below for details).
Performance Opportunities
Aside from exhibiting at your booth, you can also register a presentation, or even better, a performance on stage to attract more people to your business. An unforgettable presentation or performance will make a great impression on visitors, so if you want those 5,000 attendees to remember you, don’t miss this opportunity.
Our Partner last year, Tokyo Coding Club, made the most of their time on stage. As a school for children that teaches coding and robotics, they used the stage to showcase their robot models and shared a memorable show with international families. As a result, kids flocked to their booth and begged their parents to sign them up for a course!

The organizers aim to attract more international families this time, and if you want to directly target these families, attending this event is the direct sales strategy that you need. Expat Expo will be offering international schools spaces where they can appeal to these families, through demonstrations such as painting or calligraphy exhibitions, speech contests or musical events, or any school festival-style events for kids and their families.
