About Expat Expo Tokyo 2020

The event organizer, Innovent, Inc., sees a lack of connection between the rapidly increasing number of highly skilled professionals and foreign households in Japan and the number of English-language friendly services. Innovent hopes to fill the gap by creating an open space where the international residents of Tokyo can get to know more about services that they can freely and comfortably use in their daily lives without having to worry about the language barrier.  The event will feature exhibitors from a variety of categories, including international schools, restaurants, beauty, travel, sports and fitness, medical, moving services, housekeeping services, and cashless payment. Organizers expect to welcome about 3,000 attendees*. *Keeping Covid-19 in mind, management staff will strictly follow guidelines of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and the Japan Exhibition Association. All visitors will be required to wear masks, alcohol disinfectant stations will be in place, and social distancing will be maintained at entrance counters and event venues.

Why should the Connect Community join?

For Connect Partners

Like Connect, Expat Expo Tokyo is a perfect place for businesses to promote their services to English-speaking potential customers, but in an offline environment. Setting up a booth will give you the chance to interact with attendees, showcase your service with tasting samples, give free merchandise, provide hands-on displays, and improve your brand awareness.  It is also a place for networking. As many HR or general affairs representatives of foreign-affiliated companies will be coming, Expat Expo Tokyo could be your first step towards a business contract!

For Connect Members

Bring your family and friends, and have some fun learning about new English-friendly services and companies, as there will be samples and interesting displays. We are sure that you will find new services and products that will add to your daily life.

How to Apply (as an Exhibitor)

As Connect is an official media partner, Connect Partners can easily apply through us for a booth at the exhibition. Please email us with the subject title “Application to Expat Expo Tokyo” and give us a detailed description of your service and what you want to display at your booth: connect@custom-media.com
