The 67th CWAJ Print Show
The 67th CWAJ Print Show on October 16—20 in Tokyo is for art lovers to view and purchase contemporary Japanese art in-person or online. This year’s theme is “The Magic of Printmaking.”
The show is a prestigious annual juried exhibition and sale of contemporary Japanese prints encompassing a wide range of styles and techniques by well-established and emerging artists, with prices from ¥3,000 to ¥480,000 for this year’s 213 prints and artists, including 40 new ones.
All net proceeds from this exhibition and sale will help fund CWAJ Scholarship and Education Programs. The show will include the annual Hands-on Art exhibit, CWAJ’s unique program that transcribes prints exhibited into touchable images for visually impaired attendees. Guided tours of a curated selection of 20 prints will be offered in English and Japanese.
