Located a few minutes from bustling Shinjuku Station, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building houses the assembly hall of Tokyo’s government. Its two observatories, situated on the 45th floor of Building No.1, offer breathtaking views of the city. On clear days, visitors can spot landmarks such as Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Skytree. A highlight of the South Observatory is the “Tocho Omoide Piano,” a grand piano designed by the renowned artist Yayoi Kusama. Visitors are welcome to play this uniquely decorated instrument.

Observation Decks: South Observatory and the North Observatory
