Laurus International School Of Science

Laurus International School of Science is a leading international school in Japan, offering a continuous learning pathway from Preschool & Kindergarten to Primary & Secondary Education. Through the lens of science, we are committed to fostering independent thinkers and future innovators who are ready to contribute to a better society.
Our unique approach emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning, and we provide a personalized learning experience that caters to each student’s individual needs and interests.

Science does not mean difficult chemical formulas or laws. Children are born explorers- they seek to learn about the world around them with wonder and curiosity. Our Preschool and Kindergarten curriculums are based on the child’s natural desire to question. Nurturing and experienced teachers guide them through safe, age appropriate, scientific methods – through observation, plenty of hands-on exploration, and a lot of fun. Children grow intellectually, emotionally and socially with confidence.

Students adopt the globally recognized Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE, A-Levels) – accepted by top universities around the world – in addition to Laurus International’s robust STEM program, entrepreneurship and innovation activities. We believe in developing the whole child, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an AI and technology-driven world. Our modern campus, state-of-the-art STEM facilities and team of passionate teachers are part of this mission.

Each season, Laurus International School offers week-long STEM/STEAM-themed events for students of all ages, open to both Laurus and non-Laurus students. These include winter, spring, and summer camp/ school/ programs. Each event focuses on a different science related topic and aims to deliver an educational, fun and hands-on experience, fostering a love of learning and encouraging students to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
We also offer a wide and varied Afterschool Program for all ages, including Robotics, General Science, Digital Creative, Performance & Dance and Piano. Afterschool as well as Saturday School programs are open to both Laurus and Non-Laurus.
