Malvern College Tokyo Sakura Culture Festival 2026

Sakura Culture Festival 2026

Celebrate spring at Malvern College Tokyo’s fourth annual Sakura Culture Festival, where families can enjoy a thoughtful blend of British school culture and Japanese tradition. Held on the school’s Kodaira campus during cherry blossom season, the event brings together performances, workshops and interactive activities in a setting that reflects the school’s international character.

Visitors can move around the campus and take part in a wide range of experiences for all ages, from tea tastings inspired by both Japanese and British traditions to creative activities such as poetry and craft workshops. One of the main highlights is Move, Culture, Tradition x Sakuragaku 2026, a special collaborative performance that brings together kyogen, traditional music and regional dance, with middle school students appearing alongside professional performers.

Open to the public, the festival offers a welcoming way to experience Malvern College Tokyo’s community while seeing how cultural exchange and active learning come together in practice.
