TELL Tokyo Tower Climb 2026

Lace up your boots and head to Tokyo Tower for the TELL Tokyo Tower Climb 2026. Sunday, April 19, is a chance for advocates of mental health and suicide prevention to show their commitment with a charge up Tokyo Tower’s 150-meter ascent to the main deck.

The climb is for everyone, and you go at your own pace — as a reminder that mental health is a challenge for all, and we each play an integral part in supporting others. No matter whether you climb alone, with others, quickly or slowly, your effort makes a difference.

The climb is extremely popular with schools, corporate teams and community groups, with prizes going to the fastest climbers and highest donation totals raised. Beyond the climb, don’t leave without enjoying the cheerful atmosphere — with food, music and even face painting booths around.

Supporting TELL’s Mission

Funds raised from this climb go directly toward TELL’s mission to support those struggling with their mental health. Several of their initiatives, including their 24/7 Lifeline, are staffed by volunteers who donate their time and expertise to support those in need when they need it most. Routinely acclaimed for their empathy and care, they’re only moments away, any time of day.

Beyond immediate support, TELL hosts community events for outreach, such as band nights and yoga sessions, to help create a community around mental health. These communities also have access to TELL’s workshops and seminars on relevant topics such as workplace mental health, burnout, depression and youth wellness.

Taking part from the ground

The TELL Tokyo Tower Climb has, since its inaugural climb in 2010, been an invaluable source of funding for TELL, and a beacon of awareness for TELL and mental health needs in Japan. Even if you’re not climbing, you can take part by sharing your stories and experiences using TELL’s official event hashtags: #TokyoTowerClimb2026, #TTC2026 and #MoveForMentalHealth. And if you do want to conquer the TELL Tokyo Tower Climb, buy your tickets from the official website: tellevents.org/events/tokyo-tower-climb-2026
