Waters Takeshiba Art & Music Festival
Waters Takeshiba Art & Music Festival 2026 brings live music, dance, art installations and hands-on workshops to Tokyo’s waterfront at a one-day open-air event in Takeshiba.
Set in the plaza’s lawn area at Waters Takeshiba, the festival makes use of its location by the water, letting visitors move between performances, art and workshop spaces without feeling trapped in a closed indoor venue. The atmosphere will suit people looking for a relaxed Saturday afternoon with culture, music and a bit of movement rather than a tightly scheduled concert.
The music lineup includes DJ and live performances by Okamoto Reiji of Okamoto’s, Dongurizu, Ashley, Emi Maria and Naoki Serizawa feat. Maki Isaka on saxophone. A dance showcase featuring more than 20 groups is also scheduled, adding a strong performance hit throughout the day.
The art installation will feature upcycled materials, including industrial waste and discarded items, transformed into a one-of-a-kind waterfront spectacle. Workshops are also planned, including dimple art using paint from reused materials, resin craft and accessory crafting.
