Join the SEGO Initiative for their next Fujisawa Beach Clean-up Event, a community-driven day of environmental action along the Shonan coast. Taking place at Katase Higashihama Beach near Enoshima, this long-running event brings together volunteers, families, students and company teams to help care for one of Kanagawa’s best-loved seaside areas.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Spring Earth Day cleanup in Fujisawa, emphasizing how the event has grown from a local effort into a wider community initiative over the years. Participants work together to remove litter from the beach, support awareness of marine pollution and take part in a hands-on activity that connects people through a shared commitment to the environment.
The project is also actively seeking partners, which appears to be one of the main ways to get involved through the website at the moment. Through sponsorship, team participation and in-kind contributions, companies and organizations can support future clean-up efforts while linking sustainability goals with visible local action and meaningful community engagement.
Get Involved as a Partner
The organizers are actively looking for sponsors and partner organizations for upcoming projects. Support can include team participation, customized CSR and sustainability initiatives, or in-kind contributions such as food, drinks, event T-shirts, web support and media services.
